2000-2003

  • Axesstel, Inc. founded and incorporated through purchasing Samsung WLL business
  • Acquired equity investment from Qualcomm
  • Completed first commercial shipment of an Axesstel branded product to Vesper Brazil
  • Awarded multi-million dollar engineering contract to develop hybrid CDMA handset with Verizon

 

2004-2008

  • Listed as public company on American Stock Exchange (AMEX:AFT) - Currently listed as OTC:AXST
  • Expanded customers footprint to more than 25 countries worldwide including TATA in India, Telefonica and CANTV in Latin America, and Orange in Europe
  • Launched new line of broadband access solutions based on CDMA EV-DO and HSPA technologies
  • Rated Top-500 fastest growing technology companies in North America appointed by Deloitte & Touche

 

2009-2011

  • Opened Axesstel Shanghai and executed strategy to launch competitively priced products and aggressively reduce operating costs
  • Shifted product development efforts to focus on servicing major carriers in specific markets
  • Completed development and shipped world’s first 4G VoIP gateway device combining our 4G gateway with VoIP voice capability into Europe
  • Expanded sales in North American market, principally driven by sales from our first OEM product with Sprint as part of the 'Sprint Phone Connect' wire-line replacement program
  • Expanded sales in MEA region to existing customers as well as adding new accounts

 

2012

  • Developed a dual-mode gateway device supporting both GSM and CDMA technologies in one device for our Europe market
  • Introduced a product portfolio of security alert and connected home management solutions that allow wireless operators to enter the home automation markets with another "cut the cord" solution for residential and small business use, and shipped initial order into our MEA region
